Olivier Marchal: Commissioner Pierre Niemans, a legend of the French police, despite certain tensions with his hierarchy and his sometimes dubious respect for protocol. But beneath his rigid cop looks hides a generous, deeply good man who has spent his life tracking down the evil side of man. The story is a well narrated crime story if bestseller author Jean-Christophe Grang\u00e9 – who already wrote the book -Crimson River- which later became the movie with Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel. The mood and the characters of this film are really close to the series. The rough detective and his young unexperienced colleague.I watched the first season and started bad with the story of French cops investigating on German territory! Gave it a benefit of the doubt and continued with the second season but had to stop by the third story wherein an impersonator goes into a prominent family. Having been lost as a child and returned as an adult was just accepted by the family? The two leads are the most unlikeable characters I have watched on television – rude and arrogant. I have watched Braquo which I immensely enjoyed. The characters can be rude and arrogant but still likeable to the viewers. But unfortunately these two leads of Crimson Rivers are nowhere near being likeable at all.<\/p>\n

I saw so many cop series that most of them are really close to each other – this one is quite interesting as most of story is based around religious topics. Every episode is splitted in two parts, which I really liked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
